Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings, enquiries and services provided by Golden Horizon Tours and Travels (OPC) Private Limited ("Golden Horizon Tours and Travels", "we", "us", "our"), a company having its registered office at 3rd Floor, 305, Swapnil Complex, Nr. Sardar Patel Colony, Naranpura Vistar, Ahmedabad City, Ahmedabad – 380013, Gujarat, India, and operating the website goldenhorizontoursandtravel.online.

By making an enquiry, booking a tour package, or making any payment to us, you ("the Customer", "you") confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of yourself and every person named in your booking.

1. Bookings and confirmation

• A booking is treated as confirmed only after we receive the required advance payment and issue a written booking confirmation by email or WhatsApp.
• All bookings are subject to availability of hotels, transport and other services at the time of confirmation.
• You must provide accurate names, ages, contact details and identity or travel documents exactly as they appear on the relevant government-issued ID or passport. We are not responsible for losses arising from incorrect details supplied by you.
• The person making the booking must be at least 18 years of age and is responsible for all payments and communication relating to the booking.

2. Pricing

• All prices displayed on this website are in Indian Rupees (₹), are per person on twin-sharing basis unless stated otherwise, and are indicative starting prices.
• The final price applicable to your booking is the one stated in your written quotation or booking confirmation.
• Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed. Once confirmed and paid as per the agreed schedule, the package price will not be increased except where a change is caused by government levies, taxes, fuel surcharges, currency fluctuation on international packages, or an increase in airline or third-party supplier charges beyond our control.
• Applicable GST and other statutory taxes are charged in addition to the package price unless expressly stated as included.

3. Payment terms

• An advance of 25% of the total package value is payable at the time of booking to confirm your dates.
• The balance is payable no later than 15 days before the date of departure.
• For bookings made within 15 days of departure, 100% of the package value is payable at the time of booking.
• Certain packages involving flights, cruises, visas or peak-season hotel blocks may require higher or non-refundable advances. Where this applies, it will be stated in your quotation before you pay.
• Payments may be made through the payment methods offered on our website or through bank transfer to the account named in your invoice. Payments made to any other account are not our responsibility.
• If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled and apply the charges set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Inclusions and exclusions

Each package page and quotation lists what is included. Unless expressly stated, the package price does not include airfare, visa fees, travel insurance, GST and statutory taxes, meals not listed, monument or activity charges not listed, laundry, telephone calls, tips, medical expenses, or any personal expenditure. Any service not explicitly listed as included is excluded.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation charges, refund percentages and processing timelines are set out in full in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

6. Changes to itineraries

• We reserve the right to alter, substitute or reschedule any part of an itinerary, hotel, mode of transport or sightseeing arrangement where this is necessary due to weather, road conditions, strikes, political disturbance, overbooking, supplier failure, government restriction or reasons of safety.
• Where a change is necessary, we will provide services of a comparable standard wherever reasonably possible. Any resulting saving will be refunded to you; any unavoidable additional cost will be payable by you.
• Changes requested by you after confirmation are subject to availability and to amendment charges levied by us and by our suppliers.

7. Traveller responsibilities

• You are responsible for holding valid identification, passports, visas, permits and any health certificates or vaccinations required for your journey. We may assist with visa documentation, but the grant or refusal of a visa is the sole decision of the relevant authority and no refund arises from a refusal beyond that permitted in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• You must arrive at the stated reporting points at the stated times. We are not liable for any loss arising from your late arrival or failure to join the tour.
• You are responsible for your personal belongings at all times. We are not liable for loss, theft or damage to baggage or valuables.
• You must comply with local laws, hotel rules and the reasonable instructions of our representatives. We may, without refund, remove from a tour any person whose conduct endangers or unreasonably disrupts other travellers.
• Travellers with medical conditions, mobility limitations, or who are pregnant, must inform us in writing at the time of booking so we can advise on suitability.

8. Travel insurance

Travel insurance is not included in our packages unless expressly stated. We strongly recommend that every traveller obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, delay and loss of baggage.

9. Liability and disclaimers

• Golden Horizon Tours and Travels (OPC) Private Limited acts solely as an agent and coordinator between you and independent third-party suppliers including hotels, airlines, transport operators, houseboat and cruise operators, guides and activity providers.
• We are not liable for any injury, death, illness, delay, loss, damage, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by the act, default or omission of any such third-party supplier, or by any event beyond our reasonable control.
• Our maximum liability in respect of any claim arising out of a booking shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by you to us for that booking.
• We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss of any kind.
• Photographs, illustrations and colour blocks used on this website are indicative and do not form part of any contractual description.

10. Force majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, earthquake, flood, landslide, cyclone, fire, epidemic or pandemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, riots, strikes, lockouts, curfew, closure of airports or roads, technical failure of transport, or any order, restriction or advisory issued by a government or statutory authority. In such circumstances, refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy and are subject to amounts actually recoverable from our suppliers.

11. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with any service, you must report it immediately to our representative on the ground and to us at goldenhorizontourandtravels26@gmail.com so we have a fair opportunity to resolve it during your trip. Complaints received after the conclusion of a tour must be made in writing within 15 days of your return.

12. Intellectual property

All content on goldenhorizontoursandtravel.online, including text, itineraries, layout, graphics and logos, is the property of Golden Horizon Tours and Travels (OPC) Private Limited and may not be reproduced or used without our written permission.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with a booking or these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

14. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking is the version that applies to that booking.
